The Volkswagen Westfalia T4 Transporter California Club Camper Model History Circa 1992 the VW Westfalia T4 Transporter California Club model was introduced. The Westfalia California Club was based on the long wheel base “short nose” VW T4 Transporter (3.32m) and had a new interior layout when compared with the standard California model. The Westfalia California Club was available in a hightop roof version only. 4) 1992 - 1994 VW Westfalia T4 California Club Camper Upholstery Specification The upholstery material in the VW Westfalia T4 California Club camper for driver, passenger and rear seat/bed was a grey velour with very small coloured dots known as “pointvelours”.
The curtains for sides and rear in the VW Westfalia T4 California Club camper were grey.

Charged by alternator or battery charger. Alternator 90 Amp (or higher capacity for 5 cylinder engines). Radio preparation with antenna and 4 loudspeakers (2 in the dashboard and 2 in the roof area at the rear). 12V socket in living area. Fuses for electrical equipment in living area. Two swan neck 5 Watt halogen lights. Living / Bedroom Area Two person seat bench that slides and folds to make a double bed. Rear seat bench has one three point automatic safety belt and one lap belt automatic safety belt. Preparation for acceptance of headrests in rear seat. Storage compartment under the seat bank. Three storage compartments in the seat bank front.
Double bed is 194 cm x 115 cm and bed cushion foam is 8 cm thick.
Luxury cladding on the side walls with integrated curtain rails. Lower storage cupboard (suitable for optional porta loo) behind the seat bank on the left.
Kitchen The kitchen combination is at the rear with a two burner spirit cooker, sink, two drawers, fridge and large supply cupboard.
